Dispersants
FLOSPERSE ™ series
Organic dispersants are synthetic polymers that exhibit a function inverse to flocculants, as a result of which they are often called deflocculants. SNF S.A.S. offers a wide range of dispersants and constantly conducts research in various industrial segments, which makes it possible to develop new deflocculants that meet the needs of consumers.
For many industrial products and processes, it is required that the solids be mixed in a finely dispersed state in a liquid medium. Such dispersions should be stable over a period of time.
Special polycarboxylates FLOSPERSE is a series of dispersants for stability at low dosages. The properties of FLOSPERSE polycarboxylates specially formulated (polymer composition and molecular weight) allow them to be adsorbed on finely dispersed particles and keep them in a stable dispersed state due to system-dependent mechanisms including electrostatic repulsion, steric barriers or a combination thereof (electrostatic effect).
FLOSPERSE products, as well as mixtures based on them, are effective dispersants for various suspensions, slurries and molding masses. Polyacrylates of the FLOSPERSE series are well proven in combination with traditional dispersants such as silicate or sodium tripolyphosphate, which are used in the manufacture of ceramics.
Main applications
Depending on the scope of application, we offer our products in the form of powders or aqueous solutions.
FLOSPERSE products include homopolymers, copolymers, trimers and modified acids of various compositions:
The choice of a specific reagent depends on many parameters such as pH, turbidity, color, alkalinity, stiffness, organic and inorganic substances, etc. Therefore, the final product can be selected after preliminary analysis, laboratory and production tests.
